As most of you know, I have started this new journey with Rodan+Fields and I'm loving it. Today, I took a HUGE step and posted a before/after picture of myself (EEEK, scary)! Full term - I never thought I would be so happy to hear those words! Even though we have about 3 more weeks to go, as of Friday, December 7 th , I reached week 37 and Colton reached full term. Most babies at this point weigh about 7 pounds and are measuring around 20 inches long (of course this varies between babies, some weighing more or less).   He is most likely between the size of a wintermelon and a miniature watermelon and either way, I’m just happy that we reached this point with no complications. This week, I’m finding it harder to sleep due to the fact I can’t get comfortable for long periods of time. Week what?

Between keeping up with what week I am in my pregnancy (week 29), what week it is in fantasy football (week 7) and what week it is at work (week 42) - I feel confused a majority of the time! I am guessing that confusion is going to be a big part of my life from here on, and - honestly - I'm okay with that! This week has been an absolute blur, it went by so fast. I guess it seemed to pass by quicker than normal due to the fact that I was playing "catch up" from the weekend. Since we took our trip to Indiana last weekend, I spent Monday and Tuesday of this week (after work of course) cleaning, doing laundry, un-packing and trying to stay caught up on what is happening on the Voice ( www.nbc.com/the-voice ). On Wednesday, Matt took me out to dinner after work - I was "craving" Mexican food - and it hit the spot! Parenting Struggles

When I became a parent, I started to view life completely different. Maybe some parents don't, but I would say the majority are with me. Life took on a whole new meaning. I have a whole new priority. I'm responsible for, not only providing for a little person, but for setting a good example in my words and my actions. There's nothing more eye opening for me than to think about how I don't  want my child to be, and then see those very faults in my own self. I have always known that I wanted to be a Mom. I think some people just know that they want that direction for their life.
