Coming soon...

I haven't been sharing any blog posts this week because my mind is completely somewhere else. I have sat down and tried to type up some funny things that happened this week, but I would 1) get interrupted 2) get sidetracked 3) lose focus or 4) think of the other million things I need to be doing and get up and walk away. But today - here I am (let's hope I can remember anything from the week)!

Monday night we had 4 new cloggers in class at LMH. I am so happy that they were able to join us and I'm looking forward to the fun we're going to have. I'm thankful that we have such a variety of ages, skill levels and personalities!

Tuesday was...okay, let's just be honest, I don't even remember Tuesday!

Wednesday I ran some errands in town, cashed in a gift card that I got for my birthday at Maurices (cha-ching) and did a lot of communicating back and forth with the print shop (Tennessee Thunder Cloggers are getting new T-shirts)!

Yesterday, I spent most of the day planning out the Fall/Winter calendar for LMH Cloggers and Tennessee Thunder along with trying to keep a cranky boy occupied. My "mother's instinct" tells me that if the child would just SLEEP during the night, he would feel much better throughout the day - but hey, what do I know, right?

Today, I'm feeling excited, anxious, happy and nervous. There is (hopefully) big news coming and I can't wait to share it. Consider this the trailer - full of all the suspense - for a big new thriller coming soon! :-)

Forklift Operator I don't know if there's anything more awesome than watching my child experience things that I got to experience in my childhood. For those of you who know my family and my background, you know that I was raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina (and when I mean in the mountains - I mean literally, IN the mountains)! We lived on a dirt road near my Grandparents and my Uncle Pat and Aunt Teri. The Best Is Yet To Come

Matt & I  - Little Rock, Arkansas Texas Road Trip 2008 5 years ago (this month), I went on my first road trip with Matt. Matt's Mom was moving to Texas and I decided to ride along with Matt as he pulled a trailer from Indiana (he stopped in Tennessee to pick me up) to Texas. I have heard that it's a long trip but we were so busy getting know each other that the time flew by. I have to say that being stuck in a vehicle with somebody for that long is a good way to figure out if you like them or not. :-) Lucky for us, it was just the first of MANY road trips to come. 4 years ago (next month), I moved to Indiana to be with Matt. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made, but it was definitely the right one! Moving to Indiana helped me grow in so many ways. Brining

I could say I have never heard of the word "brining" before, but that wouldn't be 100% accurate. I think I've "heard" the word but I haven't ever paid attention to what it was...until now! I got a few chicken breasts at the grocery store the other day and I was looking for new ways to bake them. I always bake them because it's supposed to be "healthier" (even though I usually have a bowl of ice cream for dessert)!
