Woosh

It's been over a week since my last blog post - and to those of you who might actually look forward to reading my "every day stuff", I apologize! :-)

What has happened since last Monday? It feels like is went by in a "woosh"...

Last week was a crazy week. Matt and I have been on a roller coaster of emotions in regards to finding a home. We thought we had found a house, we went through loads and loads of paperwork, we waited over a month and it all fell apart. SO, we are back to square one. Ugh, it's so frustrating BUT we are trying to stay positive and focus on the fact that God sees the bigger picture! So, we carry on and ask for prayers in finding the right home for our little family.

On Tuesday (last week), my Mamaw and Papaw Bishop brought Colton a new Step2 Wagon . He LOVES his new wagon. I'm so thankful that he enjoys being outside and this wagon makes it easier for me to haul him around. Scout loves to follow along as I pull him around in the yard - every body's happy!

We traveled to Ohio on Friday of last week. Our niece (Allison) turned 1 on Saturday and we were able to help celebrate that wonderful milestone. Jake and Kate have a beautiful new home. It was fun getting to see it for the first time and I was lucky enough to get to help Kate decorate (fun, fun)! Colton got to play with Grandpa Mike in the sprinkler and he had a great time playing with his cousins Braden and Ali B. Of course Aunt Kate loaded us down with toys and other fun things to bring back to Tennessee. Colton is having a great time in his "new" Jeep walker. :-)

On Sunday, our trip back to Tennessee was a little bit more adventurous as Colton was fussy from fighting off the start of a cold. By Sunday night, the sickness was in full effect and I was up with a pitiful baby most of the night. I'm so thankful that, at a little over 7 months, this is our first round of sickness with our little man. After a trip to Dr. Woods on Tuesday and some meds, Colton is on the road to recovery. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that this isn't something that Colton wants to share with Mommy and Daddy.

Clogging classes are still going great! We are taking new dancers so if you're interested in getting started, let me know. :-) The LMH Cloggers (www.facebook.com/LMHCloggers) are performing at the Greene County Fair on Friday night. The dancers have been working so hard to prepare a great show! Make plans to come watch at 8:00pm at the Andrew Johnson Bank Stage, just inside the fairground entrance.

I have scheduled several houses to look at tomorrow morning, so wish us luck - maybe I will see "the one" tomorrow! :-)

  1. Hang in there Rennie. The right house will come along when the time is right. Hope lil Colt gets to feeling better. Sure had a great weekend with the little jumper. And very happy to see you and Matt again. Maybe see you all again next week.
